The Vision Council Foundation Partners with 20/20 Onsite to Provide Vision Screenings at Boston Public Library

Alexandria, VA – March 19, 2025The Vision Council Foundation and 20/20 Onsite will partner to bring free vision screenings to a Boston Public Library later this month. Taking place on Saturday, March 29, members of the community are welcome to visit the Grove Hall branch in Dorchester, Mass. to have their eyes checked for distance, reading and color. The vision screenings, offered through 20/20 Onsite’s mobile clinics, evaluate visual acuity and ocular health, and can determine one’s need for glasses or another type of vision correction.

“We’re proud to join forces with 20/20 Onsite to bring free vision screenings to the Dorchester community in South Boston,” said Ashley Mills, CEO of The Vision Council and The Vision Council Foundation. “At The Vision Council Foundation, we are committed to ensuring that everyone has access to essential vision care, as eye health is a vital part of overall well-being. Vision screenings are a great first step toward maintaining healthy vision, and we welcome community members to stop by on March 29 to get screened and learn more about maintaining lifelong eye health.”

“Our mission at 20/20 Onsite is to make high-quality vision care accessible for all,” said Sonali Bloom, CEO of 20/20 Onsite. “By bringing our mobile clinic to the Boston Public Library, we’re removing barriers to care and helping the community take an important step toward improving their overall health.”
