Sunglasses are a daily health necessity to protect the eyes from long and short-term damage from the sun’s UV rays. The right pair of sunglasses will block UVA and UVB light – as indicated by a sticker or label on the glasses verifying UV protection. Join in celebrating National Sunglasses Day on June 27 by wearing sunglasses when spending time outdoors and help spread the word about UV safety and the importance of protecting your eyes by posting on social media with the hashtag #NationalSunglassesDay.
